Organized every November 19, the celebration of the Day of toilets is of great importance because it is clear that despite the many actions carried out, efforts remain to be made in terms of safety, hygiene and preservation of the environment. ‘environment.
Many people do not have toilets at home and open defecation is still needed. Solutions must therefore be taken and it is in this logic that the celebration of the World Toilet Day is inscribed.
Indeed, the toilets are the symbol of a habitable house; they are of paramount importance in the urbanization of a city. A home without toilets represents a risk for the entire community as well as a home with toilets that do not meet the technical and sanitary standards required.
As such, the celebration of 19 November 2018 focused on the theme of “the call to nature”.
At CEG Notsè Ville 1 of the commune of Notsè, this celebration took place in order to:
