Established in 2003, the Togolese NGO called Entreprises, Territoires et Développement / Enterprises, Territories and Development defines and implements development programs that contribute to the creation, equitable distribution of wealth among stakeholders in agricultural sectors, local governance, management of natural resources and the environment. Its approach places economic logic at the center of activities. ETD has decided to focus its activities in Togo and Benin with a position that allows it to cover all the administrative and economic regions of those countries. ETD operates for the benefit of populations living in rural areas with an approach promoting exchanges of the "rural to urban and urban to rural" type

ETD operates in Togo and Benin .
It covers all the administrative and economic regions of each of the two countries as follows :
• Togo : Maritime, Plateaux, Centrale, Kara and Savanes
• Bénin : Oueme-Plateau, Atlantique-Littoral, Mono-Couffo, Zou-Collines, Borgou-Alibori, Atacora-Donga..

The General Assembly is the strategic decision-making body of the NGO. It is composed of 12 members.
The Board of Directors is composed of 5 members..
Regular meetings of the General Assembly (GA) and the Board of Directors (CA) are held at the rate of one GA and two CA per year.
Within the organization, leadership is shared and does not rely solely on the Chairman of the Board or the CEO; technical staff is also involved in decision-making.
